A short poem about child abuse
And as the night draws near
A little girl lies broken
In the corner of a lonely room

Breaking the silence
Are her neat little sobs
And her cute little snuffles

Oh what a shame
There is no one to care
No one to save her from this hell

Because no one cares
About the little girls' feelings
She's just a toy that people can play with

They use and abuse her
She's a cheap nasty slut
But at the age of 5...

She's too young to understand
The things people do to her
She's battered and bruised

But she thinks this is normal
That every little girl lives like this
Because after all

This is all she has ever known...
