My sisters poem

Red eyes searching for forgiveness,
in the heart turned to stone,
drunken memories,
of regret and sorrow,
love that was lost,
pushed me to the bottle,
missing you,
pushed me to the edge,
wishing for a replay,
torments the deepest crevasses of my mind,
wanting to, needing to, just  touch you,
a lust I've never known,
but your gone,
hopes and wishes pushed aside,
the truth remains,
no matter how badly I desire,
or how hard I hope,
the emptiness of the space you used to fill,
will always be there,
and you will never come back,
to fill it back up.
