A trip into a child's imagination
Tommy dove into the ocean with the hope of catching the infamous, striped tiger-fish with whiskers three feet long. He swam deep into the salty waters, dodging the gigantic octopus, and avoiding its deadly stream of ink. He swam past the coral reefs, schools of fish, and the electric eel in search of his prize.

Finally, he spotted his prey gliding through the water, unaware of his presence, and leisurely enjoying a meal. He had to approach quickly or spoil his chance of capture. As he slowly swam closer with his net ready, a great white shark barreled toward him. His mouth was open and his teeth stained with blood from his last meal.

Tommy had to find shelter fast. He dove deeper into the water and found safety in an underwater cave. He rested there, waiting for the shark to swim on toward his next meal. Slowly he floated up from the cave while keeping watch for the great white. The shark was gone, and Tommy was free to continue with his mission.

Scanning his surroundings, he mastered the deep waters hoping to again get his chance at victory. At last they met again, and the catfish stared directly into his eyes. Tommy froze unsure of his next move and careful not to startle the big fish. He slowly made his move and swung his net through the water catching his opponent.
They struggled, flipping in circles as they fought, but Tommy was winning.

"Tommy! Hurry up in there it's time for bed." His mom's voice interrupted his adventure.

"Oh Mom, I had him. I had the striped tiger-fish." Tommy climbed out of the bath tub, and his mom handed him a towel.

"You'll just have to catch him tomorrow," Mom said as she checked behind Tommy's ears.

Tommy dried himself slipped into his pajamas and crawled into bed.

Mom tucked Tommy in and kissed him goodnight. "See you in morning sweetie."

Tommy closed his eyes and began his nightly adventure of hunting saber tooth tigers in the jungles of Africa.
