People sittin on stoops
Outside doin hair
These are some things that i can bear
Livin in da inner city

People poppin caps
Niggas stealin window screens
Man this gotta be a dream
Livin in da inner city

Kids racin to the light pole
People out dancin, but nothin obceine
Sea yea, this is what i mean
Livin in da inner city

People gettin drunk
Niggas fightin
It's all excitin, but not too good
Livin in da inner city

There's pros
And There's cons
But it's all apart of...
Livin in da inner city
