Everyone experiences hurt at some point in there life.

Hurt! You've found me again.
In the ages that my spirit and flesh remain in this life,
Hurt!, you've knocked down my door, several times!

You’re the aggressive thief of joy and dream
a forceful weapon that cuts into hearts
you cause confusion
to rewind minds back to start.

Hurt!
Has often left me blind,
unable to see; a beautiful image

Feeling used and battered
I lose my identity, Undefined
to the point where I can't be recognized.

Your my worst enemy,
I wrestle with you inside me
I mask my emotions
so others won’t see
a foolish girl who allowed hurt to make her weak.

Hurt! , Makes me bitter,
makes me lose my sugar, my sweet,
Hurt! , My daily war
I fight to defeat.
There are times you creep unexpectedly
and runaway with my dignity.

Hurt!
I know we'll meet up next time
when it's me you’re looking for;
I won't be recognized.
You’ll remain the same
after all your name is Hurt
a.k.a Pain.

I've traded the hurt you left
And traded the shame
polished my heart from blame
I cling onto love with both my hands
with the pure assurance
That I will reach my promise land
