A servant girl who lives in The Beasts castle who has been in love with him forever.
I watched them dance, forcing my eyes to get use the the sight of them together. I would be seeing them this way a lot from now on. Still, as steadfast and my resolution was not to look away I found myself turning and running up the staircase as they kissed. If only that which had seen on that night so long ago...if only she had seen there was someone who loved the prince. Loved him so much she would gladly spent years in the castle as an item, just off the slight chance that she was the one that the curse implied would break it. If he could only learn to love another.... Of course she was glad to be human again. It made it a lot easier to run through the castle. As she reached her room she flung herself on her bed and cried. It just wasn't fair! She had been the one through all of the years that had comforted the Beast and he had sat alone mourning his shape and future. She was the one who he had talked to...ok granted she had been a rug under his feet but still! she had been able to talk and respond...at least right until the very end. Right before SHE had come.

Everything had been perfect before...not before Belle came because the prince was so unhappy, but before the curse. Before the curse every time the prince must be accompanied by someone he had always chosen her. That was probably in part because she would go alone with his grand schemes without a complaint. Even more so, she enjoyed it almost as much as he did. She almost smiled as she remembered the the joke they had both played on the Duchess. The royal company were out having a picnic and she had 'accidentally' spilled honey down the back of the Duchesses dress. The hope was she wouldn't notice until she sat down in a chair somewhere and stuck...but it worked out better. The Duchess hadn't noticed the honey until the Duke saw three bee's on her back. Of course, he let out a holler and when the Duchess finally got out of him what was wrong she screamed and was in such a state that, not one, but TWO of the bees stung her! Of course, no one knew how the honey got there and she and the prince had had a good laugh when they finally got back to the castle, early because the Duchess needed treatment.
