A different point of view on a distant relationship between father and son.
I hear my name being called from afar.
The voice is familiar, like an old friend.
Yet alien, like a man that can't speak English.
I understand him and that confuses me.
He is saying, "How are you?"
I am confused. Why would he ask me that?
All I can say, "Ummm, alright I guess..."
He laughs. He gives me a look that pretty much says "You know what to do."
Looking at him perplexed, I don't know what he means.
Then it came to me, I let him in.
Not into my house, but into my heart.
My father.
