Choking back tears to show no fears
Choke back the tears,
I will not show him
That I have weaknesses,
That I have fears
I’ll make him think I am strong,
Oh, god,
Why is he doing this?
He must know that it is so wrong
But I will keep my tears back
I will just sit here
And let his words scar me deep
Drawing me into darkness,
Into sleep
