I wrote this for a high school assignment a long time ago.
This game, this dance, this never ending farce,
We both know it's false.
This game, this dance, this dangerous game,
Never different, never the same.

We play to no end, no gain, this ever same game,
To no end; do we play for fame?
This game, this dance, this dangerous game,
Never different, never the same.

This game we play with other's lives and emotions,
Never caring, never noticing the casualties
This game, this dance, this dangerous game,
Never different, never the same.

Destroying our hopes and renewing ourselves anew,
Our rules so many and our victories so few.
This game, this dance, this dangerous game,
Never different, never the same.

We change the rules without cause or reason,
Yet this game never tires, month to long season
This game, this dance, this dangerous game.
Shall we play again?
