A poem about devotion, passion, loss, apology, and a boat called Santa Frieda
                Forget the hate
         Forget the sun
         Run through burning buildings
         Lit by Arsenics
         And saved by god’s rain

         Leave the truth
         In a sewer
         Sell the Morning;
         Sell the dimes.

         Morning glory

         Leave it behind
         It the mediterranean
         Destroy my mind
         Then,
         Destroy the pieces

         Evidence as a complication
         Broken, Blistered, Binary
People is the shorter alternative for bullet bags

         Physical apologies for slavery?
         Freedom Fries?
         no draft.
         for Death.
Only because selfishness and fear exist.

         Ports running around harbors
         Entirely painfully grieving
For the loss of their favorite ship:

Santa Frieda was the greatest tugboat
         Santa Frieda would never part
Santa Frieda between barge and freighter
Santa Frieda never leave my heart

         Santa Frieda was crunched
between an oil freighter and barge
                No dry eyes
Santa Frieda never helped move bombs
                Had a queer little face
Lost its virginity to an old lawnmower

         To my Santa Frieda:
             To my Ship:
               To my Star:

Leave your worries behind that piano bench
Move those tunes to the left
Followed only by constant footsteps to the left
Ask AskAsk ASK Ask aKS sask aksk aks askask ask ask them why
They took your life too early,
               Between barge and freighter
         Never leave my heart.
