This poem contains three different situations with the same outcome.
hiding
running away to safety to be abroad from
the hurt the trauma the excruciating pain the worry
the stress the strife the people who don’t
believe in you or your dreams. trying to figure
out your function your way on earth your life.

clandestine
putting on fraudulent smiles for fraudulent suckers
who believe every lie that drips from your vicious,
misanthropic lips. hating every word you convey yet
not stoping to say all the things you want to say. manipulating
the atmosphere and wishing for no superficial conversations.

concealed
away from your life you’re too afraid to express the fear
you feel for your life your love what’s growing inside you.
looking into the mirror into your eyes to see the terror
the anxiety speaking loud and clear as if you said it yourself.
a life unwanted by others but a way out of the lonely prison
that you have been thrown into by all of those around you.
what to do what to do what to do. abort. abort. abort.

death.
death.
death.
