About the thunderstorm today, and what i felt when i saw it.
In the midst of hurricanes raging
All is silent, and even birds do not sing
The voices in my head are quiet, like a pupil under scorn
All in the eye of a storm

The monsters of old are out and about
They are silent and ready, like lightning in clouds
Waiting for a chance
To strike fear when they boom out loud
Disorder and chaos, Eris would be proud
But not in the eye of a storm

A cascade of colors, distortion, and beauty
White, blue, and even colors we cannot see
Unclear confusion in the rioting crowds
Eris will always be proud
But never in the eye of a storm

The bands have silenced their horns and their drums
To wait in awe for the silent power to come
The winds are silent, and the rains have ceased
For now
Only in the eye of a storm
