Family, friends, employer - If only I can be who they want me to be
If I can be anything other than what I am
I'd want it tomorrow.
If I can be what my family wants,
Find a good christian guy, settle down, and have a family of my own,
I'd gladly do it all.

If I can be what he wanted me to be,
He would not be left with a broken heart now.
If I can be what my editor wants me to be,
I'd be a superb employee, with the ability to work magic and miracles.

But the fact remains that I am who I am,
With that much time, ability
And loving every moment of where I'm at now.

Note: Written four months ago, when work and family, together with a emotionally draining relationship each took a bite of me.
