Farfalla, seen so long ago, yet delighted by it still.
It paused as if in thought.
Swaying gently to and fro.
Poised on a dancing leaf,
Gently moving jew'led wings.

Then by an errant breeze,
Tossed up high aloft, the
Glittering scrap of color flew.
Here, there... then gone.

Oh so long ago in that,
Flower studded verdant
Garden of the past. Yet
smile I still, to remember.
