The life of a young black female
My skin may be darker
My hair may be thicker
My culture may be stronger
My accent may be harsher
My clothes may be looser
My history may be hurtful
My views may be stricter
But my future will be richer
My struggle may be harder
The mountains to overcome may be higher
But my blood is more soulful
And my future is more fruitful
