It only takes being left behind once, to be left behind forever.
The west wind blows,
And on it goes,
Melting in the deep.
Where seagulls cry,
And wish to fly,
Melting in the deep.

Here I stand,
Atop the sand,
And life goes always on,
Forgotten once,
And only once.
And life goes always on.

The bold men walk
The weak just talk,
And they are left behind.
While others try,
They only lie,
And they are left behind.

There they stand,
Atop the sand,
And life goes always on.
Forgotten once,
And only once,
And life goes always on.

And leaves behind,
The lowest kind,
While melting in the deep.
