sometimes suicide can be a long process...
(free verse poem)

Laying on the bed in a dark house
of despair.

She's going to lose it all to commit
a slow suicide.

Falling on the floor,
crawling to the radio playing her lulluby.

The drugs wear off,

The song ends and she is alone again..

Her sobs are heard only by the empty
darkness.

No one is ever home to hear her futile
pleas for help.

She finds vague comfort in giving
her body away.

Rather be used and numb than deal
with the pangs of lonliness.

Everyone talks behind her back,
their fake smiles just make her worse.

They don't care that she's dying slowly in
her endless dark hell.

She's waiting until mercifully,
it finally ends,

She's just commiting a slow suicide.
