Gather around kids, I want to share an experience that I had on a Halloween night.
[Introduction]
Knowing that I have Celtic roots from such a long time ago, I thought that I would celebrate Sanheim at midnight in the metroplex of Texas. I lit a candle for my granddad who taught me how to fish and tell good stories; I lit a candle for me to read my idiot's guide to Celtic wisdom, and then I lit a candle, a red candle for a retired WWII naval officer who died suddenly 30 years ago.

The retired WWII naval officer served in WWII and Korean War. He had many accomendations and awards. He was a powerful commander who was enjoying his retirement. We met through his son. I was raised in the Air Force, so I understood military neighborhoods. I enjoyed knowing a commander so closely. His death was sudden. His son kept his knife point in my skirt so I don't go to far. 2004, I confronted him. So for the fun of it, and for a kick, I celebrated Sanheim Halloween night of 2006 with suprising results.

According to Sanheim rituals the loved ones are given sweet treats, too. So, I took some Halloween miniture chocolate candies, Nestle's Crunch bars for my guests. I lit the candles. I bit into the naval officer's candy. The melted wax around the flame swirled counter-clockwise, slowly. The other candles were still. Since then my life has had a backward feel to it. I feel as if I am in my 20s, again.
