This poem is about the burning fire-like pain the persona feels about self-destruction.
Fire,
burning deep within,
flowing from my eyes,
like fiery crimson tears,

(like blood).

The flame sets me ablaze inside,
all the passion is gone,
rage is all that remains,
as I turn to ashes.

Fire,
blossoming like a scarlet rose,
within my soul,
drives me,

destroys me, gives me a reason,
to watch you fall,
to plan your eventual demise, to watch you topple,
to destroy all that you have ever done....

Fire,
it consumes me,
stealing my last dying breath,
burning everything I have ever felt.

One day this flame,
will destroy everything I hold dear,
if I only knew how to dampen the flames....
