Allegory. A raven trapped within a persona's soul, death and rebirth from a Wiccian's POV.
The raven within caws,
it is trapped.
No open windows that the raven can fly out,
this time.

The trapped raven sings,
a note so unexpected,
a haunting fierce cry.
Harsh and unforgiving.

Set my soul free.
Set the raven free.
Let it fly unfettered,
into the Mother's arms.

Allow me to roam,
one sweet day,
with raven wing's outstretched,
my soul will fly.

The wolf howls,
the raven scratches at my heart,
crimson drips down,
black as death that spreads through my limbs.
