Kitty cat
Oh, blackest cat
Always at my side.

Bad luck?
My Goodness - No!
Only the best from you.

Smug surveillance,
Incessant licking,
And solid, soothing purrs.

9 lives?
Well, 9 years
Of endless clemency and calm.

Kitty cat
Oh, tolerant cat
Always in my heart.
