Written for the girl who is the reason I started writing.
That Day
Grey clouds cover the sky, gone, the sunny week.
The feeling that they give me, the outlook is bleak.
Today's the day things happen, today's the day things change.
I'm so confused I don't know why, but on the inside I feel strange.
I could sort of see it coming, except it came too soon.
How would I know my life would change before the rise of the moon?

You said you would be lost without me, earlier that day.
Obviously, in those few hours you found your way,
Out of my heart, out of my mind, you asked me to forget.
But I'm sorry, I can't and on these words, you can bet.
