A song type poem I wrote.
You hate the way I sing to you
Something you said you could never do.
I told you you didn't have to amaze me
But you told me I deserve you to be.

So I said, Sing me a song
That makes me fall in love with you.
Sing me a song
That makes my heart beat so fast, I don't know what to do.
Sing me a song
That makes me want to die and live all at the same time.
So let's see baby, if you can sing me a song,
That makes the world stop on a dime.

And so I sang, baby don't worry about what you say,
The things you do are enough every day.
I love you for what you are and what you do,
I'll never love you for being anyone but you.

So I said, Sing me a song
That shows me how much you love me.
Sing me a song
That can hold me like I wanna be.
Sing me a song
That can steal my heart, as if a sweet crime.
So let's see baby, if you can sing me a song,
That makes the world stop on a dime.
