just about losing something or giving it away
Piece of me


Some say love hurts
Some say love can be sweet
My love didn’t hurt
My love wasn’t sweet
It was never mine to own
It was given to him
Devoured and never to be seen
One day I thought I saw it again
Two days I reclaimed what was mine
Only to realize I didn’t
It was forever gone given to her.
