A little poem for my sister, who recently was dumped.
Standing on the sidelines,
Not knowing what to do.
There are so many people,
But all I see is you.

Too afraid to talk to you,
Too nervous to come near,
With many people talking,
You are all I hear.

Watching you with another girl,
Just rips me up inside.
When you held her close,
I think I could have died.

I thought of what we could have had,
The love we could have shared,
And then I see you pass on by,
As if you never cared.

You said that you loved me,
What a wicked lie,
Then you ran away from me,
Not even saying bye.

Because that's the kind of guy you are,
You leave a poor soul broken,
You destroy a poor girl's heart,
Their tears are your token.

My review for myself: Mediocre. Watch your syllable counts. Don't capitalize every line. Could be better.
