An ode to 3:00 AM, my middle of sleep time for reflection. Written at..... Three AM,
Yesterday meets today at Three AM.
Three AM.
A passageway, the portal.
A time of not.
Not yesterday. Not today.
A time of now.
Three AM.
No sun at Three AM.
No birds at Three AM.
No body at Three AM.
Magical Three AM.
A time for me to be me. Rested. Fresh. My time with me.
No intruders. No interruptions at Three AM.
I'm uninhibited at Three AM.
My friend Three AM.
