Man's brave attempt to fight of despondence
The soft rays of a young Sun;
Another prayer to some unknown;
A new way to don the livery of Person;
Another way to err and lesion.

The quaint touch of cold Rain;
Her attire modest, she does not feign.
Yet her cold demeanor purges all our pain
And leaves us anew on a greener Plain.

The elusive air of The Free
That comforts not one gasping plea,
Provides visions of eternal glee
And illusions of undying serenity.

When the heart is deprived of inspiration
And the beauty of life is beyond comprehension,
Remember the elements that share your apprehension
And smile upon this dawn of realization.

What is life without the glimmer of hope?
A tearful charade that Man can't cope.
Of all the reason in life we devout,
The foolishness of hope is paramount.
