Ode to Night

i have so much to say,
but no words to display.

night opens and darkness prevails,
my meditation in light fails.

since long in hope of this night,
i hurled the full day's light.

i have so much to listen,
but no star wills to glisten.

i have so much to see,
the hiding heart of thee.

i believe in night to seek,
what heavy heart cannot speak.

for the hustle of the day,
is too much to betray.

o' night you please twinkle,
so the heavy heart may sprinkle.
