Some choices can make you proud of yourself.
What If I did?

Leave you on that day?
To find a man
Less sincere and so astray
Unloving and faithless
Crooked in such ways

What would you have done?

If I left you alone that night?
Would you have faded to the dark?
Or forgotten the wrong from right?
Without, would you have not been strong?
Would you have not try hard to fight?

Would you have left?

When I needed you?
When I was alone,
Without a clue
So lost, not knowing
What to do.

Would you have cried?

As hard as I?
When I saw you burn,
Before my eyes?
Though not by death,
It makes me cry
To see someone
We love just die
Even though how
Hard we try

But even though it broke my heart
I'm happy to deeply know
That inside of me there was a part
That's glad I didn't leave.
