Wondering if the Lord made a little mistake when He made flies
Flies

When they get into my eyes
I sometimes stop and wonder
Why the good Lord made these flies
Was it all some Lordly blunder?

The little ones get in my ear
And cause me much distress
I dig and dig to get it clear
To foul language I confess

The big green ones attack my face
And try to bite and chew
The sight of dozens in one place
Is like a witch's brew

The tiny black one is up my nose
Oh my but it does bug me
And then to add to other woes
His friend swims in my coffee

Oh tell me Lord if I may ask
And please forgive my sigh
Did you flub just one little task
When you first made a fly?
