Just a poem..
I struggle to keep my breath steady,
Pretend there’s not a million ways I could die
In a matter of seconds, right now or anytime,
It’s a battle between anxiety and sanity
Mortality chooses to side with anxiety
I’m not strong enough to face both of them
But the pills are with me, fighting slowly and now
Addiction has joined the fight with its friend Side Effects
And Resistance will bide it’s time until I’m weak enough;
My safety has brought three enemies and they’re slowly killing me
I’m not sure which side the pills are on anymore
But I know which one is winning.
