The poem of a girl being broken down by her mother.
Take me down like you always do
Break down my only sense of security and make it your own
I know you are only blinded
By your egotistical world of lies
I know its all you know and all you will ever comprehend

You don't see me anymore
Like a scar on your arm, I've faded over the years
Gone forever as if being tossed into the trash carelessly
I am nothing to you, but I will not care
I used to, but now I'm calloused in your bleak manner

Your words sliced through me so clean and deep
Now I take your words and slice them deep into me
A never dying reminder of the pain you gave me
I know you don't care that I'm dying inside
Because I lay dying, you lay there denying.
