Just a general Poem about Stereotypes
I'm a "Prep"
I don't try enough
My Life is anything but rough

But if they lift up my shirt
They will see the truth
Why does he hit me?
I don't understand!
I'm so confused
I thought we were friends

I'm a "Punk"
An Abnormal teen
Eyeshadow in Hot Pink and Electric Green

But nobody knows
Except my "weird punk friends"
Why did he take my innocence?
It wasn't supposed to happen like this!
For the Love of God
I was only six!

I'm a "Nerd"
I like to learn
I get picked on by the people called "Popular"

But if only they knew
That without friends, it's hard to keep sane
They don't know
My weekend plans
The guns all ready
It’s almost the end

I'm a "freak"
I have no hair
I'm called what I am, because I retain water

But they don't know
The battle I fight
I was born with cancer
It's the Chemo’s fault!
I was told I would die
Before I reached 12

I'm "popular"
I made the right friends
I pick on people, at their expense

But none of them no
Where I go after school
My dad hates me
He prefers his crack
I work two jobs
To buy my "cool" outfits

Were Stereotypes
We judge people with words
We ruin lives
And start classroom wars

But there is a way
to defeat us, you see

What if the "prep" made friends with the "nerd"
Maybe his life won't end as heard
What about the "punk" and the "freak" can they be friends too?
Of course they can, its all up to you
Say you wanted to become friends with a popular
All you have to do, is break the invisible barrier
