A poem of a broken relationship that continues for one if not the other.
You don’t see me,
When I look at you,
But I can see,
How you look at her to.

I try to forget,
Look the other way,
But my heart is set,
It’s too late to turn away.

I want to move on,
I’m sure you do to,
I’ve become so withdrawn,
No matter what you do.

So here I am,
Doing what I feel is best,
In my heart I know, damn
I don’t think I say the rest.

I’ll try to keep going,
Keep moving ahead,
I can go far knowing,
As I left, what you said.

“Live on for long,
Walk the path ahead,
Then you’ll know your wrong,
That I knew what you never said.”

So I try to forget,
Though I know my heart is set,
I look the other way,
Saying It’s not too late to turn away.
