We should just start writing without regard to what we write. From Bottle in the River.
Start Where You Are

A treacherous trickery
my mind plays on me,

to think that I have to be
in a place of planned certainty:

to start the road meant for me,
to be where I want to be.

Maybe not write out of love or glee,
maybe “just right” will never be,

But when wisdom finally comes to me
to start where I am, I will then see

there is no such thing as certainty—
and the road often goes

imperfectly.
