Love and regret.
Dear Ms. Mary

Who lives down the street

I have a story to tell

About a maiden to whom I fell

Too deeply in love I fell

And our lives, a tragic carousel

So please listen Ms. Mary, please listen

Dear Ms. Mary

Who lives down the street

I loved her the moment our eyes have met

That there was nothing left

Nothing left to regret Ms. Mary

How foolish could i have been Ms. Mary,

how much too foolish?

Dear Ms. Mary

Who lives down the street

It seemed that we shared a common fondness

Fondness for each other it proved

That we sat in stairs, afraid to move

We never did move Ms. Mary, we never ever did

Dear Ms. Mary

Who lives down the street

But I conquered my fears and spoke

And we both talked to one another

Just like how fond we are of each other

But it did not last long Ms. Mary, afraid it did not

Then Ms. Mary

At the time we were to be closer

She was taken to a place

Endlessly farther from one another

And my heart at the other side of every letter

What am I to do now Ms. Mary, what Could I do?

Then Ms. Mary

I have less things to say

And even lesser things I could do

That my love eventually covered,

Covered every romantic crimson moon

And wished that I would soon forget

Her face- the beautiful face of regret

So Ms. Mary

This is where my tale comes to an end

And innumerable nights have descended

Yet her face is still not forgotten

What now Ms. Mary, what now?

Dear Ms. Mary who lived down the street

Were you listening; were you even listening?
