A bitter tasting lost love poem.
Let's compare scars
So I can taste your lies once again
And you can see how much I can break
When you wont take my hand
Your fault, your loss
None of your words could save me now
Your voice I've forgot
Since I fell back toward the ground
Cuz you said you didn't want me around
Are you proud of me now?
Since the day we both crashed
I didn't let a single drop of blood fall for you
I knew all along this wouldn't last
So I prepared myself for the truth
I always knew
We left empty-handed again
Because I'm nothing for you
My words mean nothing to you
My tears, artifical, create wounds that were never real
But of course we both knew
You were the one with the truth (yeah right and pigs can fly)
It's in the past
No use in trying again
We lie in wait for the rain
To sing us to sleep
And wash away what we have made
More regrets to clog the drain
Of worlds we could never survive in
(Lucky you, I stopped dying)
