breaking up
Everything in time, at least that is what we said, but I knew it was too soon and we collided. It was a crash so deep that I can't discern the breaking of waves from that of disappointed hearts. I know, we both know, this is because of me..... and I accept that judgment.

Only the "trees" of the city know I harbor storm clouds in my eyes, and tonight the "stars" have never spoken so loudly of things that will never be.
