A poem about how my dad lied to me. about something big.
Everything is going down
When I see you
Can you only lie?
Is that the only way you can talk to me?
Did you think that I would live in the world you built for yourself?
That's not who I am!
I have a heart
A mind
A soul
I am not a girl
I am a woman!
I'm not you're little baby.
I am me.
And you just lied.
I am a person
I can be as wild as I wanna be
Make me wear something other than black!
Make me.
I live in a world where desperation rules
And where pain is my cell mate in this hellhole.
So wake up from your dreams
And open your eyes
To life, damn you.
