I’m Watching You

I’m looking in from the outside.
I see you there.  You cannot hide.
Through dreamy eyes of misty blue
I’m watching you.

The beauty shines out from your face,
Of ugliness there is no trace.
Such goodness in the things you do.
I’m watching you.

A butterfly with colours bright,
You make a cloudy day seem light.
The darkest sky soon turns to blue.
I’m watching you

I know you’ll never notice me,
I’m insignificant, you see.
But though I hide myself from view,
I’m watching you.

Even with help from cupids dart
You would never accept my heart.
But then, I look.  Can it be true?
You watch me too.
