A short peom about how I feel when I am near the ocean.

The sea whispers
As it washes up on the beach
Calling to me
Propelling my feet.


The water washes over me
Comforting my soul
It feels so familiar
Like I’ve been here before.

The moonlight glistens
Off the waves and the foam
Whispering in my ear
“welcome back home.”
