Short and descriptive.
The Lady
entered through the left side
curtain just after spring began her act
and though I had seen her many times
before I never noticed the simple fact

She Sang
A song for sweet repose
the peaceful beauty of youth mature,
with softened features clear
defined against the backdrop of nature

For Eternity
it seemed to last that long drawn,
peaceful melody but all
things soon must come to pass
And so the play went on
