Saith the scribe, triumphant:

My words are my limbs;
I dance out into the night
from balcony to rooftop
I sequentally alight

surfaces scanned for some
welcome word on a wall
imagining images inscribed

on outstretched words
I take flight

I AM THE SOUL OF THE CITY

it lives for me,
breathes for me alone
dancing across
the incongruities,
enraptured
