I wrote this about a recent relationship.
Foolish me…

I thought you were my happy ending.

Shame on you…

Does it hurt at all to see me crying?

I want you to comfort me,

I’m waiting here, patiently.

I can wait for you forever

Just don’t ever say goodbye.

Wake up, Wake up!

I’m waiting for you.

I can’t, I can’t!

Bear these things that you do.

And although I know you try so hard

My heart can’t bear this pain

I’ll wash away the memories,

From this cold, painful game.

I’m waiting here, amongst the crowd.

Can you see me seeking?

Will I be here tomorrow, underneath this cloud?

Give up everything…

Where will our next story be?

I’m waiting here, patiently.

Just don’t say goodbye.

Wake up, Wake up!

I’m waiting for you.

I can’t, I can’t!

Bear these things that you do.

And although I know you try so hard

My heart can’t bear this pain

I’ll wash away the memories.

Yes, I’ll wash away those memories!

I’ll wash away the memories,

From this cold, painful game.

I’m ready to wake up.

I know it’s not the same.

I’m holding onto the memory

Of your cruel game

No more holding on

Uprooted from the storm

It’s my turn to say

Goodbye

(Wake up, wake up!)

Wake up, wake up, wake up!

I’m waiting for you!

(I can’t, I can’t!)

I can’t, I can’t, I can’t!

Bear the things that you do!

And although I know you’re trying so hard,

My heart can’t bear that pain!

I'm washing away your memory.

I’ll wash away those memories!

I’ll wash away the memory…

Of your cold, cruel game.
