Fenrir and Timaeus meet Clarissa, A young drifter that will be their new companion
"You have a choice," Fenrir says to the young woman.  "What will it be?  Ignore what you saw and live, or refuse and die?"  The young woman laid there silent.  She couldn't muster up the courage to even whimper.  Staring into Fenrir's searing red eyes, she was almost certain that he would be the one to end her existence.  "Your eyes tell me that death is the only thing on your mind.  Fenrir looks into her eyes and sees her fear.  He feels her hopelessness and says,"very well, shall I kill you slowly, or do you wish to die as quickly as possible?"

"What?"  The young woman is startled by Fenrir's statement.  "I never answered you, why are you going to kill me?"  Fenrir replies, "Do not fight this, it is your innevitable fate to die someday.  What better time is it than now?"  The young woman begins to cry and plead with Fenrir.  "Please don't kill me, I'll never tell anyone about this, I swear."  Tears run down her face, and fall to the ground.  "You're pathetic, you grovel at a person's feet as if your life has meaning.  From what I can gather, death would be a release you pray for, not shy away from.  The woman screams, "don't kill me, please!"  Fenrir raises his blood soaked sword to the woman's neck.  "Do not hate me, for I only do what you wish."  With these last words, Fenrir swings his sword to the woman's head.

The sound of steel meeting steel shatters the silence that plagued the darkness.  "If you did what was right you would have let the girl go Fenrir."  Timaeus looks at Fenrir, his sword had caught Fenrir's just before it decapitated the woman.  "You should be ashamed," Timaeus says with annoyance in his voice.  "Death is for the weak, not the innocent."  Timaeus turns to the woman, who is now absolutely frightened.  "I'm sorry for what you had to see here tonight.  You can go home now."  The woman barely manages to say,"I don't have a home."  "Is that a fact," Timaeus replies with concern in his voice.  "You should come stay with us.  After all, it's the least I can do to make up for my friend's behavior."  The woman is shocked by Timaeus's offer.  "what makes you think I would want to stay with that lunatic friend of yours?"  Timaeus laughs and replies, "you do have a point.  How about this, you come stay at our place, and I'll make him sleep outside."

Timaeus helps the woman to her feet.  "My name is Timaeus, and the lunatic is Fenrir.  It's a pleasure to meet you."  The woman's fear is now utter confusion as she introduces herself.  "I'm Clarissa, umm, I don't quite know what's going on here, but it definitely isn't normal.  I have a question for you.  What the hell are you guys.  "We are your knights in shining armor, if you let us be," Timaeus replies with a friendly smile.  "And you want me to come stay the night?  What kind of idiot would take that offer?"  Timaeus simply replies, "The kind surrounded by dismembered bodies, and no explaination of how it happened."  Clarissa realizes that he has her in a very compromising position.  "I guess I don't have a choice other than to go with you, do I?"  "That's right.  Don't worry, we'll take good care of you," Timaeus assures her.  "Fine, I'll go, but he stays outside," Clarissa says pointing to Fenrir.  "Then shall we go?" Clarissa, Timaeus, and Fenrir set off into the night.

And so the story begins.  A legacy of two heroes will be written in blood.
