Feel the race pulsing through you.
Fire, burning inside my legs
Relief, my tired body begs
and needles of sweat in my eye

The Race, long begun
I continue to run
focus the mind on the prize

I just keep going
the pace never slowing
Heart beating out of my chest


Push myself to the limit
I know I can win it
Never settle for second best
