Honestly, the things we write in youth...
In the depths of the night I search for you…
Your answer is never there.
I don’t know which myth is truth
Or if my feelings are shared
Facing me is a heart untrue
Whether I rejoice or despair rests solely on you

The soul in my heart
The heart in my soul
The reason why I’m living

Time makes me wary of the danger I face
Or the lack of conflict which scares me
Is this the pursuit of an undefined chase?
Time I spend deep within my fury
Interferes with the hunt of my query

Is it time for the fog to lift or the path to be cleared?

Time in time out
Days end full of doubt
Time stops you arrive
I’m glad that I’m alive

Or maybe the reverse is true
That I’m not meant to be with you
And then what would I do?
To be caught in a twister with origins unclear

Is it time for me to see what is there?

Nowhere to run
None to hide
No way to steer

Why do I take these risks then?
Unaware of the beginning or end
I guess life’s funny that way
Nothing to give, but all to pay.
