Love found and lost.
I love you.
From the first moment we met,
I knew there was something special about you.
Even though I was with another the attraction was there.

Over the years,
I've wondered about you.
About what you were doing,
Where you had been.

Then suddenly,
I would look up,
And there you would be.
Like a ray of sunshine on a cloudy day.

But as suddenly as you'd appear,
You would vanish.
Like a will o' the wisp in the night.
Leaving me lost and wondering.

Then amid my loneiness and despair,
You once again would appear.
To make like worth living,
And the sun to shine once more.

Now, due to reasons I don't understand.
You have gone from my life once more,
And once again the clouds fill the sky,
And raindrops fall.

But I know,
That someday, you will be back again.
Bringing the sunshine and rainbows.
And I pray that this time you will stay.

Until then, I'll live each day to it's end.
Waiting and watching.
Hoping that when you come back,
It will be forever and never again will the sky be full of dark clouds.
