I write this for you,
to let you know,
just how I feel,
how I wont let you go:

first we were separate,
I knew you, a friend
then we got closer
till now I can't pretend

to not know I love you,
always wanting to spend
more time around you,
always failing to send

outward these messages,
never seeming to talk
almost can't say them,
its like learning to walk;

when we cannot speak,
your there in my mind
a constant reminder
so warm and so kind
the clearest of signs
