For young girls and women like myself that wait for their soldier
I'm the youth who dare loves a man,

That cannot love as he desires.
He has loyalties to his country,

And I await as time transpires.

I promise him loyalty despite distance...



The slightest word brings me to recollect,

all the words I dare not write or speak aloud,
The fragments of speech that've went unsaid.

And I dream of him on quiet evenings.
